Local Getaways' goal was to build a long-term audience they could reach repeatedly: readers, followers, and subscribers they owned.

When we started, there were:

  • No active paid campaigns

  • No structured list-building system

  • No predictable way to grow reach outside of organic traffic

The objective was clear: turn paid traffic into owned audience assets.

Social Follower Growth

To expand reach and support long-term visibility, we ran targeted follower growth campaigns across Facebook and Instagram.

Results (30 days):

  • +772 total followers

  • $980 total spend

  • $1.26 average cost per follower

  • Instagram drove the majority of growth, aligning with platform behavior and engagement patterns

This increased Local Getaways’ owned social audience and strengthened future distribution and remarketing efforts.

Email Newsletter Growth

To build audience ownership beyond social platforms, we ran two paid email subscriber campaigns.

Combined Results (2 campaigns):

  • 820+ new email subscribers

  • ~$2,000 total spend

  • ~$2.42 average cost per subscriber

  • ~29% landing page conversion rate

Both campaigns were optimized mid-flight to maintain efficiency and performance as conditions changed.

The result was a high-intent email list that Local Getaways can now activate for partnerships, promotions, and future monetization.
